Holy Psychosis!

Nietzsche, apparently de-mented for the last ten years of his life,
holding the space of divine madness as the mind
disintegrates back into the Sunyata (emptiness) of
the primordial Pleroma (fullness).
~
Holy Psychosis!
(The spiritual madness of divine sanity)
~
I hear the Wind of silence blow,
the mysterious pneuma of the Holy Ghost;
the Voice they say is All in my mind,
and so it is, this omnipresence divine.
~
Creative madness haunts my every breath,
visions of gods, revelations of the Spirit;
how is my poor mind to comprehend
these break-throughs from another realm?
~
"Medicate it, deny it, distract yourself;
come back into the material world."
Put my active Spirit back to sleep?...
I think not, I'd rather deny society.
~
Unhinged, my mechanistic mindset freed,
escapes the grip of a Cartesian identity;
instead I'll settle for the Hermetic truth:
"as above so below" reflects God's proof.
~
Holy psychosis breaks the spell of materiality,
floods my mind with an ancient Sea;
Neptune rises from the primordial depths,
triune Fish-God from Oceanic consciousness.
~
Like, Christ, he hopes to hook a human,
pull us up from our lower kingdom;
eucharistically devour us as his feast,
integrate us up into the Heavens complete.
~
These Serpent-Gods swim inside our minds,
great Leviathans sent to save mankind;
Monstrums of universal reconciliation,
thus Jesus said, "be ye as wise as serpents."
~
Strange as it seems, the Sun-God, Christ,
does not fly down from the skies;
but instead he walks upon the waters,
rises-up from unconscious darkness.
~
Enlightening the psyche from inside out,
his shine breaks bad with a maddening bout;
disintegrates mental matter with his gleam,
invades like an Alien from a world unseen.
~
Shamanic dismemberment whirls crazy-wild,
like a tornado, or Shiva's dance of fire;
but the pure Sound of silence ever peals,
in the Eye of the cyclone, a Voice so still.
~
The sane and plain truth is clear to see,
now that the tempest has passed from me;
what is this psychic storm at Heaven's gate,
flaming Cherubim come to seal our fate.

Driven mad by the Sun-flowering Mind, Van Gogh's
self-expressive art started out as quite dark and colourless,
which is commonly a sign of depression's blackness, nigredo,
 the first stage of the alchemical process. But as his so-called
mental illness deepened into schizophrenia, the second phase
of albedo in alchemy, the whitening of consciousness, his art
became bright and psychedelic (cauda pavonis), before
he reached the third and final stage of divine madness, suicide/
sacrifice, alchemical rubedo; but he took it literally instead
of symbolically, unable to integrate Sunyata. Perhaps cutting off
 his ear was a way of "acting out" in a final attempt to silence
the voice that was All in his head?

Rasputin, the mad mystic.
